If you were not able to attend the last webinar on Biomass gasification for the production of energy and high added value products, this post interests you.
Our speaker Jose Antonio La Cal, Dr. Industrial Engineer, bioenergy expert and founding partner of Bioliza, explained how thermal and electrical energy and high value-added products (such as biochar or green H2) can be generated from biomass gasification technology. In this specific case, applied to the olive sector, as a clear example of circular bioeconomy.
He explained all the characteristics of a dry fatty pomace gasification plant that BIOLIZA is building for an olive oil industry in the province of Jaén (Aceites Guadalentín, SL). This 1 MWe electrical production, operating in self-consumption mode, is in the testing phase and waiting to be operational before the end of the year.
