According to the PYPL, Python is the most popular language in January 2021 and its popularity continues to grow.
The PYPL (Popularity of Programming Language Index) is created from data extracted from Google Trends; analyzing the frequency of searching for language tutorials on Google.
The ranking is established by comparing the percentage of searches in the current month with the same period of the previous year. A useful classification to decide which programming languages to learn and stay up to date.
As can be seen in the table, which shows the ranking of the main programming languages in January 2021, comparing the data with January 2020, Python is not only the most popular language but also the one with the greatest growth trend.
