The great tool for the human resources manager to attract talent

Human resources professionals have a great tool to attract talent to a company. It's about the emotional salary and Gema Campos will tell us about his secrets in the webinar this Thursday, May 7.

Surely you have already heard about emotional salary. This is what professionals in the Human Resources sector call this concept that companies live with every day. It indicates all non-monetary remuneration that the worker perceives positively.

Although taking into account the emotional salary should not make us forget the worker's monthly salary. The two are independent perceptions that must be worked on. If the company neglects any of the two fundamental pillars, the result will be the same: a collapse.

Money is no longer everything

Society advances and, today, the majority of workers, and even more so if we talk about great talents, are not so concerned about finding a job to survive, but rather a job that allows them to live comfortably. This also includes the non-salary part of the job offer.

But let's specify, what measures can a company take to offer a higher emotional salary? We give you some examples:

  • Good working environment: Company managers and HR managers can encourage the flourishing of a good environment among colleagues.
  • Flexibility in schedule: Something that allows the worker a greater margin of conciliation and produces a greater feeling of freedom.
  • Telecommuting: For new generations of professionals, teleworking is another advantage to take into account in companies.
  • Teambuilding and leisure for employees: Rest, leisure and days that include recreational activities can be very productive in terms of performance and this has been more than proven.
  • Celebrate birthday: More and more companies include the worker's birthday among their days off.

All these measures serve to build worker loyalty with the company. He or she will feel greater confidence in his or her job while perceiving stability and security about his or her position that will allow him or her to stay until a better offer arrives. That is why these strategies are so important when it comes to attracting talent to our company.

Our expert in Human Resources management will talk to us about all this, Gema Campos, psychologist, coach and HR consultant for large companies.
