On the contrary, Compliance reinvents itself every day to adapt to the demands of law and society. Today, we not only see grow specialties that refer to specific sectors in which Compliance gains weight, such as the public or financial sectors; but begins to extend to all areas of the company, with the same objective of detecting and preventing risks, sanctions and liability derivations.

In parallel with this growth, in 2015 the standard was published ISO 19600 'Compliance Management Systems. Guidelines' whose objective was to establish guidelines for the implementation of Compliance Management Systems. 2016 is the year of ISO 37001:2016 which specifies a set of measures to prevent, detect and address the risk of bribery. And in 2017, the UNE 19601:2017 that establishes the requirements for criminal Compliance management systems and that is already certifiable standard. In 2019 the UNE 19602 Applicable to Tax Compliance in all types of companies and organizations in all sectors of activity and sizes.

At the end of 2020, the future ISO 37301:2020 standard It will replace the first ISO 19600 and, unlike its predecessor, it will be certifiable.

Know in depth the Compliance regulations, identifying the obligations to which companies are subject, understanding their internal procedures to identify, evaluate and prevent risks, promote the Compliance culture in the organization properly communicating the Compliance program, coordinate internal compliance training, audit and/or certify the Compliance management system, know the management of software tools for the implementation of management systems, are examples of competencies that a good Compliance Officer must have.

All of them, along with the personal skills that must configure the professional profile of the compliance manager, have been incorporated into the Master in Data Protection Management & Chief Compliance Officer from the EIP International Business School, a master's degree from School No. 1 in Employability aimed at training jurists of the future and with a future.
