Self-employed workers in small municipalities will have double the flat rate

Self-employed workers who live in towns with less than 5,000 inhabitants will have two years flat rate of 50 euros, in the contributions that this group pays to Social Security.

Currently, a new self-employed person pays this amount only during his or her first year of professional life as a self-employed worker. The measure means incentivizing this type of workers in rural areas with double the time.

Measures, which will be included in the State Budgets to avoid the depopulation of rural areas. Among them, the commitment to public services and the promotion of employment in these areas stands out.
