The Council of Ministers gives the green light to the Fire Protection Installations Regulation (RIPCI)

As detailed by the Government, the objective of this new regulation is to determine the conditions and requirements applicable to the design, installation, maintenance and inspection of the equipment, systems and components that make up active fire protection facilities.
Specific, The following aspects are regulated:

  • The conditions and requirements that fire protection equipment, systems and components must meet.
  • The conditions of authorization and operation of installation and maintenance companies.
  • The conditions for the installation, commissioning, minimum maintenance and periodic inspections of these facilities.
  • The sanctioning regime.
