As reported by the CNI (National Confederation of Installers), the Safety Regulations for Refrigeration Facilities(RSIF) is being modified by the Ministry of Industry and there will be many changes in the new text.
The CNI has participated in several meetings held at the Ministry of Industry where representatives of affected sector associations and autonomous communities have presented and discussed the proposed modifications that will be reflected in the first draft that will be published shortly.
Among the changes is the consideration of refrigerant gas R 32 as slightly flammable A2L with the possibility that level 1 installers can carry out the work of handling this gas in the installation and maintenance, complying with certain precautions and requirements, among which is the preparation of a risk analysis. Given this important change, the CNI is participating together with AFEC (Association of Air Conditioning Manufacturers) and CONAIF (National Confederation of Associations of Installers and Fluids) in the preparation of a Guide to R 32 refrigerant, which clarifies doubts regarding its management. by professionals.
