Siemens has intensified its commitment to the environment with the goal of 70% of its global energy consumption coming from renewable sources within two years. Within its Siemens Energy Efficiency Program, the firm will be a “zero emissions company” in 2030. Since the launch of this initiative in 2015, the brand has reduced its CO emissions2 in more than a 25%, and a 15% energy costs.
The company has launched 27 energy efficiency projects in its buildings around the world. The technologies and measures implemented include the installation of combined heat and power systems, absorption chillers, air conditioning or the recovery of heat and cooling towers.
