Photovoltaic plants will use BIM to improve their performance

The energy sector is experiencing a revolution driven by the introduction of new technologies, which is changing from the forms of generation to consumption. In this context, Ayesa is participating in a project financed by the EU for the development of high-quality photovoltaic systems. Called Super PV, it seeks to improve the life cycle of photovoltaic plants and promote competitivity of European products.

The budget of this international consortium, in which a total of 26 partners are involved, amounts to 11.6 million euros, of which 9.9 million are contributed by the EU (H2020).
The project, which started a year ago, includes different work packages. One of them will focus on designing a specific BIM (Building Information Modelling) model for photovoltaic plants (PIM, Photo Voltaic Information Modeling). Specifically, this tool will allow visualization of the project in 3D and collaborative, multidisciplinary and more efficient work.
