Big Data application for the management of air conditioning installation in hotel chains and stores

The company Indoorclima is successfully applying the enormous potential of Big Data to the management of air conditioning installations. Large hotel chains and important companies in the retail sector are achieving spectacular energy savings through the implementation of their solutions.

So far in 2017, these Indoorclima clients have recorded savings of between 15.8 and 46,86%, which places the average savings at 27%. In the case of the retail sector, the savings achieved are equally important and companies such as Decathlon, C&A, Bauhaus or Kiabi achieve percentages of between 16.7 and 27.4%, with an average of 24.7%.
Currently, Indoorclima is firmly committed to revolutionizing the management and maintenance of this type of facilities through a new concept: Virtual Maintenance. Its innovation team has developed SGClima, a system consisting of intelligent algorithms that analyze and act on air conditioning installations.
Among the advantages of Virtual Maintenance compared to traditional maintenance, it is worth noting: guaranteed maximum comfort, 50% savings in maintenance technician hours, guaranteed minimum 15% energy savings and absolute technical control.
So that SGClima can offer positive results, its technology records information on the operation of installations of more than 200 air conditioning equipment from different manufacturers, and more than 350 million behavioral records of various cases, by sector, climatology, etc.
All of these behavior patterns (more than one hundred between the retail and hotel sectors) are continuously analyzed and interpreted by the system, which automatically produces the predictive and management algorithms necessary to implement in each facility, to optimize it and reduce energy consumption.
