We continue analyzing the nZEBs, in this case from the point of view of energy certification. Taking into account the current proposal of the DB HE 2018, almost zero-consumption buildings will imply a letter jump in the energy rating of multi-family homes.
If we take as a reference the graph from the presentation by Luis Vega [Deputy General Director of Architecture and Building at the Ministry of Public Works] we can see:
- Climatic zone E: Goes from B to A
- Climatic Zone D: Goes from C to B
- Climatic zone C: You go from C to B
- Climatic Zone B: Goes from C to B
- Climatic Zone A: You go from C to B
We must not forget that almost zero-consumption buildings are dynamic and evolutionary, in such a way that they will adapt to the technological, economic and energy conditions at all times.
This is why in the next updates [Every 5 years] of the CTE there will be improvements in the energy ratings.
