Strong employment growth in the renewable energy sector in Latin America

In Latin America, countries such as Mexico, Argentina, Colombia and Chile stand out for their high job creation related to renewable energies. Specifically, wind, solar and biofuel energy are by far the ones for which the most qualified professionals are needed.

In 2020, all professionals working directly in the renewable energy sector already exceed 11.5 million.

In fact, the sector has not stopped growing in the last two decades. If we analyze the trend, we can see how it is growing in all markets and geographical areas of the planet. This behavior means that professionals who work in the sector have greater guarantees of maintaining jobs and future professional development.

IRENA's latest report reflects this growing trend. For more information you can consult the summary of the report published by Clean Energy XXI: https://cutt.ly/9hquwBl
