In any case, the activities carried out by students will be directly related to the content and skills defined in the curriculum.
The dissemination will be carried out through the following channels:
– On the Talent Management Platform made available by the International Postgraduate School for this purpose.
– On the Virtual Training Campus.
– Through emails addressed personally to the students.
– Any other means of communication used with students to give greater visibility to the offers.
Internships can be assigned in four different ways:
– Through placement, at the proposal of the International Postgraduate School, with the approval of the company or institution. To this end, the employment department will establish the guidelines and criteria for assigning these internships, which must include academic records.
– Participation of students in pre-selection processes established by the employment department and, where appropriate, subsequent selection by companies or institutions.
– Active search and location of a workplace by the student.
Companies or institutions with which the International Postgraduate School has collaboration agreements for curricular internships for their students will offer at least one internship position during the academic year. Likewise, companies with collaboration agreements for internships will be published in the relevant section of the School's website.
In the event that several students apply for the same curricular internship offer, the criteria for selecting the final candidate will be based on:
– The suitability of the student's professional profile to the requirements indicated in the internship offer.
– The number of credits passed.
– The average grade of the academic record.
Students completing an internship will be assigned an employment tutor. The employment tutor must effectively monitor the internship, coordinating with the tutor from the collaborating entity. To this end, there will generally be personal contact by telephone at the beginning of the internship. Furthermore, ongoing and periodic contact must be maintained with the external tutor to assess the student's progress and verify compliance with the training program. The employment tutor will be responsible for evaluating the internship curriculum.
During the curricular internship, the student will perform the duties and tasks described in the corresponding Training Project, following the instructions of their employment tutor. They will also accept the other conditions included in the corresponding internship annex prior to the start of the internship.
Once the curricular internship has been completed, the International Postgraduate School will issue the student a document certifying the internship, which will include information regarding the collaborating institution, the duration, and the date of the internship. The corresponding credits will also be obtained.
It also contemplates the recognition of professional internship credits for professional experience accredited at the appropriate competency levels and in the appropriate periods (see credit recognition procedure).

If, for any reason, a student rejects the internship offered under the conditions described above, the International Postgraduate School will deem the student unavailable for extracurricular internships and will close the option on their academic record. Students will be deemed to have rejected the internship offer, whether they formally reject it, decline to participate in the application process, or fail to meet the requirements within the established deadline, specifically:
– If, after 12 months from the start of the first session in which you are enrolled, you do not meet all the requirements. This is except in cases of temporary suspension of the academic record, in which case 12 months from the start will be taken into account for the new session.
– If, after being contacted by the International Postgraduate School for an interview or a direct internship offer, you do not respond to messages or do not reply to the company that attempts to contact you, or you do not show up for the interview or refuse to attend.
– If, upon attending the interview, you show a lack of interest in the position, company, or conditions, or deliberately provoke rejection in the opinion of the interviewer.
– If, after being selected, you do not sign the Internship Annex or, after signing it, do not show up at the company.
– If you abandon the internship or the company requests its termination for reasons attributable to the student.
Internships will generally be paid, unless specifically authorized by the student. This compensation will be borne by the host company or entity and must be paid monthly in arrears in the same installments as the employees' salaries.
The host company or entity will be required to register the student with Social Security, indicating the trainee code in all cases during the process.
