The industrial and construction sector, so poorly achieved after the pandemic caused by COVID19, is now in luck. Investments in energy efficiency already represent the 9% of Europe's GDP and generate 18 million direct jobs. In this way, one of the objectives set by the European Commission is being achieved, which is very clear that the energy independence of the entire Union is essential to achieve a competitive and productive economy, capable of continuing to lead industrial markets and R&D projects around the world.
If we assume that the 90% on EU roofs are not used for energy purposes and that the CO2 emissions reduction targets are unavoidable, the growth of the energy sector in general and the solar sector in particular, won't stop growing during the present decade.
On July 6, the European Parliament's Committee on Industry, Research and Energy approved the report "Maximizing energy efficiency in buildings" which supports the dmassive and unprecedented deployment of new solar roofs throughout the European Union. This report will be approved in Parliament on September 14.
Without a doubt, a magnificent opportunity for all qualified professionals and companies who work in the sector.
