TOP 5 Hacker-themed Series

As any of the Starks would say, “winter is coming” and there is nothing I want more than lying on the couch with the blanket and watching a series on television. So since what we like is the world of hacking, cybercrime and technological things, below, I leave you five series that you should see, I'm sure I left some more famous than others, but these are the ones I like the most and none is wasted.

Mr. Robot (7.5 filmaffinity)

Series about hacking par excellence, the most successful in recent years and perhaps in history. Starring Rami Malek as Elliot Alderson, a boy who works as a security engineer at the company Allsafe and who joins a group of hackers who want to cancel all the credit debts in the world.

Silicon Valley (7.4 filmaffinity)

It is a satire on the Internet industry, very funny thanks to Richard (Thomas Middleditch) a naive and shy programmer and his companions Martin Starr as Bertram Gilfoyle, a dark hacker and network engineer and Kumail Nanjiani as Dinesh Chugtai a programmer specialized in java among others, where we can see that during the path they travel while their company “The Pied Piper” grows, they come across large technological companies that are clearly winks from others that we know perfectly well. Comedy series with short chapters and six seasons that I highly recommend.

Hackerville (5.3 filmaffinity)

According to filmaffinity it is a thriller about a network of hackers and the investigators in charge of pursuing them. When she discovers the origin of a hacker attack on a large German bank on a network in Romania, BKA cybercrime expert Lisa Metz is assigned from Frankfurt to Timisoara, her city of origin, to work hand in hand with investigators. locals led by Romanian police officer Adam Sandor.

Eye Candy (4.8 filmaffinity)

Thanks to this series we can see that not all hackers are men. This series stars Victoria Justice dedicated to unmasking murderers, conspiracies and terrorist attacks on her blog. It only had one season, although the forms of hacking and dangers on the network that they show are very interesting.

CSI: Cyber (4.2 filmaffinity)

CSI: Cyber (Crime Scene Investigation: Cyber) is a spin-off of CSI and the fourth series in the franchise. It is a police genre television series starring Special Agent Avery Ryan (Patricia Arquette) in charge of the cybercrime division that is responsible for solving cases of the Deep Web where there are everything from murderers to cyberthefts, hacking, pedophile networks or harassment. among many other threats.
