Speed Dating SAP: An Opportunity for a Qualitative Leap
The highly anticipated in-person SAP Speed Dating event in Seville brought together 230 SAP-certified students and 15 companies looking for talent. Organized by the Andalusian Regional Government in collaboration with AUSAPE and SAPThis meeting is serving as a great opportunity to promote employability in the region.
Starting at 9:00 a.m., the Meliá Sevilla Hotel was the epicenter of this event, where participants were able to attend various presentations and lectures throughout the morning. During the day, prominent figures from the industry participated:
- Juan Pedro García, SAP Training Head of Southern Europe, who welcomed the attendees.
- Ilma. Ms. Rocío Blanco Eguren, Minister of Employment, Training, and Self-Employment, with a presentation on the importance of training in employability.
- Izaskun Ramos, Director of the SAP Public Sector, who addressed the impact of SAP on the public sector.
- Sergio Rubio, Director of Information Systems at Bidafarma and Regional Delegate in Andalusia for AUSAPE, who shared his vision on digitalization in companies.
- Charlotte Glenat, SAP Training Head of EMEA, who closed the presentations with an inspiring talk on the future of talent at SAP.
With the agenda of talks finalized, the key moment of the day began: the interviews.
Each participant has the opportunity to meet with different companies in a five-minute rapid-fire interview format. In this space, candidates present their profiles and skills, while companies seek to find the best talent to join their teams.
The atmosphere was full of enthusiasm and dynamism, with students and recruiters exchanging ideas and experiences. The event continued until 6:00 PM, when the event concluded with a networking session.
