The main licensing models in SAP BTP are:
Free Trial of SAP BTP licenses
Free Trial Option: It allows you to evaluate BTP's services for a period of 90 days without incurring any costs.
SAP BTP licenses are designed for learning and testing, allowing you to gain experience at no cost.
By Consumption
Pay as You Go: In this model, customers pay only for what they use, with no prior commitment or minimum usage. Customers can activate and deactivate SAP BTP services as needed and will receive a monthly bill for the resources consumed.
Suitable for creating first applications, proof of concepts (PoCs), and consuming real data.
BTPEA (CPEA): In this model, customers purchase an advance credit to use SAP BTP services for a specified period, typically 12 or 24 months. Customers can use the credit to access any SAP BTP service and will have continuous visibility into their usage and available balance. As we will see below, it even allows for simulations of costs, depending on the modality, region, etc. contracted.

- We select the mode at the top of the screen and with the button “Add to Estimator” we add it so that it loads into the price calculator.
- We access the calculator where we will see the estimate for the selected data.
- Finally, accessing that estimate, we will see the aggregated products.
From here, we can modify regions and quantities to be contracted, while viewing the variation in estimated costs.
