The Labor Inspection puts the magnifying glass on the false self-employed and the wage gap in companies and agreements

Collaborative economy platforms and scholarship holders, among the rest of the objectives.

The Government approves a new autonomous Inspection body that incorporates communities and social agents.

On April 6, the Council of Ministers approved the strategic action plans of the Labor Inspection until 2020. According to the document approved by the Government, the next actions of the Labor inspectors will focus, among other priorities, on , in the fight against fraud posed by false self-employed workers or possible irregularities committed in the field of collaborative economy platforms.

The Inspection's actions will also focus on verifying compliance with the rules of non-discrimination by gender.

Another of the 12 objectives of the Labor inspectors and sub-inspectors will be, as usual, to control unjustified temporary hiring, part-time hiring and training contracts. In this sense, there will be specific actions in relation to interns and non-work placements, as well as for employee training courses.
