The position of Head of Human Resources, the only one where women rule

In a work landscape where men achieve greater success, there are certain sectors that serve as an advance for the rest. This is the case of the sector of Human Resources. Today, for Women's Day, we talk about the position of Head of Human Resources, the only one where there are more bosses.

Much to conquer

As James Brown sang, this is a man's world. Leadership positions in companies are represented in a 75% by men. This is an example of how the world of work continues to be dominated, for the most part, by men and although this dynamic is changing, there is still a long way to go together.

Human Resources managers are the majority

Sectors such as education, health or NGOs are the sectors with a higher percentage of women in leadership positions. However, in none of them do they achieve a majority. Only in a professional sector do they achieve it and that is Human Resources.

56% of the professionals who manage to access a position as head of Human Resources are women. It has been in this last decade where this statistic has achieved the greatest increase (close to 85% in the last 10 years). Is LinkedIn, known as the social work network, which has managed to extract this data and prepare a report in which we highlight Human Resources as the most egalitarian sector in the world.
