A few weeks ago the eleventh edition of the CISO Academy took place in Lisbon. ISMS Forum<\/a><\/strong>. This event has both a training and practical nature for the CISO community in Spain, around topics of high strategic and operational interest, such as cloud governance, business continuity, digital transformation or GRC and compliance, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

HE ISMS Forum<\/a>, either Spanish Association for the Promotion of Information Security<\/strong>, is a non-profit organization founded in January 2007 to promote the development, knowledge and culture of Information Security in Spain and act for the benefit of the entire community involved in the sector. It was created with a plural and open vocation, with a configuration of a specialized debate forum for companies, public and private organizations, researchers and professionals where they can collaborate, share experiences and learn about the latest advances and developments in the field of Information Security. All its activity is carried out based on the values of transparency, independence, objectivity and neutrality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Associated companies and participating professionals<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

ISMS Forum now has more than 300 associated companies<\/strong> and more of 1,350 associated professionals<\/strong>. The Association is now, therefore, the largest active network of organizations and experts committed to Information Security in Spain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Returning to the event, the EIP International Business School<\/strong> was widely represented at said event, where both the director of the Master in Cybersecurity Management, Ethical Hacking and Offensive Security<\/a> <\/strong>as several of its teachers had the opportunity to participate, as is customary for most of them. Some other teachers were also invited, but since it was a weekend, not everyone could attend, especially for personal reasons.<\/p>\n\n\n

The experience was very enriching for them, which is why the EIP International Business School thus reinforces its commitment to the cybersecurity ecosystem in Spain<\/strong>, given that the professors who were able to attend and those who are part of this ISMS Forum community and who could not attend have an influence on the development of cybersecurity in Spain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But, in addition, these experiences, as well as the commitment of the teachers to the ISMS Forum, are of high added value for the students of the Master in Cybersecurity Management, Ethical Hacking and Offensive Security<\/strong>, given that these are their teachers, who are in the day-to-day life of cybersecurity and who share their knowledge and experiences with our students, both in the subjects themselves and in the master classes they give in the Master.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, our Cybersecurity Chair was represented by its members and they continued to look for synergies and actions which result in the Master in Cybersecurity Management, Ethical Hacking and Offensive Security being the best in Spain<\/strong> and that its students are trained at the highest level, contributing positively to national cybersecurity. Some other interesting options were also identified for our students and alumni, always within the framework of these collaboration opportunities that this type of events provides.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
