The <strong>Ministries of Social Rights and Equality have been working on this regulation for some time, <\/strong>to make it easier for families to combine their work and family responsibilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"gb-headline gb-headline-d0fadef8 gb-headline-text\">What are the keys to the <strong>new law for families?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Eight weeks unpaid leave for each child<\/strong> and to which working parents have the right to access until the child turns eight years old.<\/li><li><strong>Increase in parenting income of 100 euros per month.<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Permit of 7 days a year so that workers can take care of family members or cohabitants.<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Consideration that single-parent families with two children are large families.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"gb-headline gb-headline-4b14bc73 gb-headline-text\"><strong>Parenting income of \u20ac100 per month<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>This benefit will be extended to people with children under three years of age. <\/strong>who are or have been in Social Security or mutual insurance for 30 days or have received a benefit (contributory or assistance) from the unemployment protection system.
