{"id":68518,"date":"2022-10-06T09:04:16","date_gmt":"2022-10-06T07:04:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eiposgrados.com\/?p=68518"},"modified":"2022-10-06T09:04:19","modified_gmt":"2022-10-06T07:04:19","slug":"emotional-well-being-mental-health-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/eiposgrados.com\/eng\/blog-rrhh\/bienestar-emocional-salud-mental\/","title":{"rendered":"Emotional well-being: mental health"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The psycho-emotional health of workers is key to achieving a healthy work environment, but isolated initiatives are not enough, the pandemic has left a series of consequences and lessons learned that still last; among them, the importance of emotional well-being.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this context, the call to <strong>&#039;corporate wellness&#039;<\/strong> either <em>work well-being<\/em>, a state that workers achieve as a result of a set of measures implemented by the company to ensure that they enjoy good mental, emotional and physical health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe concept is based on the idea that there is nothing more important than the <strong>PEOPLE<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Continuing with this idea, from the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/onx.la\/f7895\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/onx.la\/f7895\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">World Health Organization (WHO)<\/a>,<\/strong> considers that the worker&#039;s comprehensive well-being begins with a healthy work environment: <em>\u201cA place where everyone works together to achieve a shared vision of health and well-being for the community.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This concept <em>\u201cIt not only covers the part directly related to health, but also the physical spaces, ergonomics, work flexibility, leadership and diversity policies that allow the participation of workers in a shared environment of values and ethical principles\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Keys to taking care of the mental health of employees<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Define boundaries between personal and work hours<\/li><li>Breaks or relaxation activities<\/li><li>Disconnecting electronic devices<\/li><li>Promote actions to raise awareness among staff about mental health issues at work: healthy eating, sleep hygiene or the development of hobbies that allow disconnection<\/li><li>Promote communication, create dialogue through spaces that allow two-way feedback.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>All of these initiatives can help workers improve their health, increasing their personal and family well-being, achieving greater tolerance to stress and greater satisfaction in their job.
