Our student from the higher university program in international biomass project management, Alejandra Vanessa Vega Chirino, is doing her internship (professional internship) at the National University of Santander (Colombia).<br \/>\nIn your internship you will be able to carry out research activities related to anaerobic digestion in the biotechnology laboratory of that university.<br \/>\nLet us remember that anaerobic digestion is a fundamental process in obtaining sustainable gaseous biofuels since through this process we can use microorganisms to decompose biodegradable material in the absence of oxygen. This process generates various gases, among which carbon dioxide and methane are the most abundant. We all know the energetic properties of the latter.<br \/>\nIn the photograph we can see Alejandra with Dr. Liliana Castro Molano, her internship tutor.
