The giant that knows everything about us, Google, has donated the amount of $350,000<\/strong> to Python Software Foundation<\/a> (PSF) to support the development of CPython (Core Python), improve foundational tools, and strengthen the security of the Python package ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PSF is a non-profit organization that supports programming language<\/strong>, as we can read on their website:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0\u201cThe mission of the Python Software Foundation is to promote, protect, and advance the Python programming language, and to support and facilitate the growth of a diverse, international community of Python programmers.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since Google uses Python for many of its main products and services<\/strong>, and in particular it is extremely important for Google Cloud, it is not surprising that it has supported the development of tools to improve security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
