What I call <strong>develop by similarity<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The consequences of this people management is that only those people who have <strong>behaviors or values similar to yours<\/strong> and that will make the team composed of <strong>many same profiles<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So continuing with the tailor&#039;s metaphor, it will be having the same suit for the entire team and the team. <strong>You won&#039;t be able to stand out at all.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Because leading by wearing a suit that is not tailored will cause you to lose the talent of your organization since, or people will be<strong> frustrated and unmotivated<\/strong> trying to fit a profile that doesn&#039;t help them grow or<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0people will go <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/pulse\/cuidado-te-vistas-como-los-dem%C3%A1s-para-encajar-noelia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">look for a tailor who will make them shine with their suit, or who knows, maybe they will make their own<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Here I leave you some strategies to get to know your collaborators better (and take their measurements well)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Get to know yourself first<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Self-knowledge is the starting point of any leadership.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Schedule a time <\/span><b>Get to know your collaborators.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The time you invest today will be the time you earn tomorrow.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Ask questions beyond work<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, meet the person behind the professional. You don&#039;t have to go into depth, but at least know what your lifestyle and personal motivations are.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Apply different methodologies <\/span><b>mutual knowledge.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> It will make knowledge easier, it will give you individual strengths, and it will be a very didactic learning experience. Knowing the behavior and conduct of your collaborators will help you identify what they contribute to the organization naturally and why you need them on your team.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Do everything the way <\/span><b>honest and sincere<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> because that will make trust the basis of your work and your relationship.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3><strong>Advantages of knowing your collaborators better<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You develop them from what you have observed them doing best.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">By fitting into their suit they can shine individually and recognize the brightness of their companions, generating <\/span><b>healthier relationships<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All the time you invest in them generates a <\/span><b>honest and strong relationship<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
