Institutions, especially public ones, continue to support and prioritize investment in energy efficiency.<\/span><\/h2>\n

This is great news for our sector, as it means that we have reached a level of awareness high enough for everyone to<\/span> public institutions bet<\/b> for the change towards<\/span> renewable energy<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

As in the <\/span>Basque Country<\/span><\/a>, specifically in Errenteria, where the town councils become aware and are committed to the installation of<\/span> LED luminaire in public lighting<\/b> this year. Over the next few days, more than 600 LED luminaires will be installed, which will be completed in February 2021.<\/span><\/p>\n

This change also represents an annual saving for the city council of more than 30 thousand euros in energy and maintenance of the facilities.<\/span><\/p>\n

With this last change at the end of 2020 and taking into account all the actions since 2015, more than 2,600 luminaires will have been replaced, almost 60% of the municipality's total lighting.<\/span><\/p>\n

Other places in Spain that are reinforcing their commitment to facilities and projects aimed at <\/span>energy efficiency and renewable energies in <\/b>Basin<\/b><\/a>, where the plenary session of the council has accepted the presentation of 149 municipal projects so that they can use all the aid with European funds that IDAE (Institute for Energy Diversification and Saving) is giving.<\/span><\/p>\n

The provincial institution will collaborate with the municipal councils with the financing of the 80% of the total cost coming from <\/span>European funds<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Furthermore, we take this opportunity to remember that <\/span>IDAE<\/span><\/a> It will keep its two lines of aid action open until the end of the year to improve energy efficiency not only in SMEs but also in large companies. These aid will allow the replacement of more efficient equipment and installations and the implementation of energy management systems, regulation and control elements that favor better analysis, regulation or consumption.<\/span><\/p>\n
