Creating a transaction and menu in SAP may seem complex, but with the right methodology, it becomes an orderly process that meets business objectives. Let's see how to do it.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

It is common for companies to need to customize their SAP systems to better align them with their specific processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For example, we may need a new transaction to manage purchase requests more efficiently, or a customized menu that makes key functions easier for the finance team to access.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First, we'll create a new transaction in the system, which, when executed, will call the program we specified within SAP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We run the code SE93<\/strong> to access the new transaction creation screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In it, we must indicate the name that we will give to the new transaction and press "Create<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In our example, we will create the transaction called ZPRU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now we are going to create a new one scope menu<\/a>, which will help us group the transactions we want and have them easily available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 1:<\/strong> TCODE: SE43<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

To create it, we execute transaction SE43 and enter the name we want to give to the new menu, for example, Z_PRUEBA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We indicate the name and click on "create".<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next, a screen will appear where we must provide a description for the new menu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We enter the text and click on \u201cCreate scope menu<\/em>\u201d so that the new menu is generated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 2:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The next step is to add the desired transactions to the created menu. In our case, "Test Menu."<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After having clicked on the \u201c button in the previous stepCreate scope menu<\/em>\u201d, we will find the following screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In order to add the desired transactions, you need to position yourself over the text that appears on the \u201cTest Menu\u201d screen and click on the button. \u201cInsert entry at a lower level\u201d or \u201cInsert entry at a higher level\u201d, <\/em>depending on the need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In our case, we are going to enter the first transaction and to do so we select the lowest level, and enter the previously created transaction \u201cZPRUEBA\u201d in the screen that appears.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next, we confirm with the button \u201cInsert Entries<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once the transaction is inserted, we'll see the created SAP menu as shown in the image, although we won't yet be able to see it on the SAP GUI login screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Use Scope Menu<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In order to view and use the created menu in SAP, we must include, in the SAP command field, the name of the scope menu as if it were a transaction and press \u201c\u201cintro\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this, our new SAP menu will appear in the SAP Menu folder, instead of the standard SAP menu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
