Sometimes we encounter situations where we do not know the correct parameterization path for a specific field.. <\/strong>For example, find the parameterization for document types in the purchase order\/purchase order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TCODE: SE16N<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We execute the transaction code SE16N<\/strong> to access the Data Browser<\/strong> and enter the relevant reference table. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For example, in the case of parameterization of the purchase order document class, we will report the corresponding table of the \u201cPurchase Order Header\u201d (EKKO<\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once inside the details, we position ourselves in the verification tab\/table \u201cHelp for\/Verify entry\u201d.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Within the tab, we look for the line with the name of the field we want to parameterize, in our case BSART<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once the line with the field name is located, the column code \u201cCheck Table\u201d,<\/em><\/strong> which is a new table, it provides us with the parameterization path needed to configure the field correctly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now we are going to access the transaction SM30<\/strong>, which is the table maintenance view.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This transaction allows the maintenance and configuration of database tables. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We enter the name of the verification table and click on Customizing<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A faster way to get to step 7 is from a specific document field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 2:<\/strong> Here we will find the button \u201ccustomizing\u201d<\/strong> which takes us to the same place as step 7.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
